I disagree....
and I'll quote some friends who are ACCNA (Quattro Club) instructors....

the newer cars are allowing people to driver much faster than before, and NOT making them better drivers.  The systems insulate their bad habits/actions, lead to greater speeds, which in turn leaves less time for correction when something goes wrong.

Technology is no replacement for lack of training ...because when technology fails - all you have left is your training.
