Your MY '95.5 S6 uses p/n 4A0 863 821 AG.

According to Family Album v5.30-458 illustration 863-25 for MY '95, '96, '97
and '98, it changed mid-year 1995 (VIN 4A-S-100 001 and later) to the one
you need, then again mid-year 1998 (up to VIN 4A-W-005 000) away from the
one you need, and is titled "sound dampening pan". There was no indication
of any difference due to AAN or AFC.

This would lead me to believe you could use a pan from a late 95 A6 thru an
early 98 A6 on your 95.5 S6 (pay attention to VIN on cars near the ends of
this range).
