[s-cars] steering

Perhaps another way to describe it is like this...
Look out your left window as you take a turn, see all the black
rubber and paint on the wall ? That is the result of understeer.
Now look out the right window, see the big hit on the wall and the
resulting debris on the shoulder, that is the result of oversteer.

Yes, my idea of humor. I try :)

P.S. last Sunday's adventure included late breaking causing nasty oversteer,
followed by heavy throttle application causing nasty understeer. The lesson
learned, snow tires are great in snow, but suck while playing on unstable
road condition while driving to fast. No paint was shed on this adventure
though

hey, I'm young and don't have a lot of knowledge with car terms. I'm sorry
if i sound stupid, but i was just wondering what the difference between
understeer and oversteer is (what does it mean?). thanks, and sorry for
wasting your time. MIKE 94' S4
