Congrats Rod, very impressive numbers. Frank is correct, you typically do not
add a flat 25% to the dyno numbers to get crank hp. Usually a constant number
is added with a slight percentage gain for additional frictional losses is
used. The constant used usually comes from a stock car with known hp from the
same dyno as was used to measure your hp. In any event, that car has to be an
absolute rocket!
A few questions:
What gear did you do your pulls in?
What type of dyno?
Are you using different software for the high octane fuel?
Are the hp numbers SAE corrected?
So when are we going to see Hap's numbers?
