<snip>

Now along comes Rod's engine modifications, and suddenly the cars
driveline is consuming 502.4 bhp - 376.6 = 125.6.  That's a difference
of
@ 69 bhp within an otherwise identical driveline. Isn't bhp just
another
way to say "Heat" i.e., calories? The conversion program I have
tells me 69 bhp = 12,300 calorie/second =  2,928.7 BTU/minute.

Isn't that an awful lot of additional heat the driveline alone has to
absorb?
<snip>

Mike, Mike, Mike.....

It aint just the driveline that dissipates the heat. First it is
absorbed by Rod's brain, where it is converted to Hot Air.

Then the Hot Air gets distributed, first the everyone in the Dyno room,
then to anyone in his cell phone speed dial, followed by all of us on
the lists where he subscribes....Shit, I hear there's a heat wave in WV
now that the National Weather Service can't explain....
