This happens so often, even on stock cars, I'm surprised there isn't a
TSB for stealers to install a big sticker with a diagram on the
underside of the hood showing how to check it...

Then again, I'm sure this is a easy income opportunity for them.

Keith (Fixed this connection 5 times until I finally added something
sticky on the moisture trap nipple before putting the hose back on the
6th time)

Check ALL 3.5mm vacuum hoses in the engine bay,
including those going to moisture trap.  This is
outlined on UrS4.com, but those clamps are probably
oxidized by now and a lil loose.  Nothing a trip to
FLAPS won't solve.  Reclamp and you should be golden.
As for how to test, I have patented the Pizzo Clamp
Torque Resistance Maneuver (tm).  Pull on the lines.
If they don't fall off their clamps, "ist Gut".
