In my case I didn't (couldn't..very rusted) loosen that adjuster/equalizer.
That is where the dremel tool came in handy, to cut off the cable. Slipping
the new cable on was not too difficult. This was a PITA job, but with
experience I should now be able to do it again quite easily...in about 10
years. ;-)
Gary
Ohhhhhh reeaaaaaaaaaaaly now there Gary? Not for another 10 years, eh?
Nope. Methinks you just "volunteered" to watch / guide / laugh at Paul
doing his here sometime, mine's iffy at best. Maybe come spring or
something. Maybe I'll have an ebrakeathon. Will pay in typical currency,
ya know, beer.
Coincidentally, hmmm, what's this I see in my inbox this morning... silly
Bill Perron here is ALSO experiencing ebrake woes, today... Hmmmmm... Heh
heh heh...
Whatwith all this fine snow here in the NE, let's just say my ebrake has
been working some serious , er, "overtime" 8-). Leaving my driveway
purposely snow packed for WOT runs up, then sideways, never seems to grow
old. And when it snows, ohhhhhh Nelly, watch out...
-Paul seriously but not seriously pondering how to install a WRC style
ebrake for my driving pleasure K.
