[s-cars] no spark in a 1995.5 S6 after air bag deployment

Not sure that this matters, but you might go ahead and reset the airbag
controller (2x2 connector behind the AC control head in the dash), so the
car "forgets" it's liitle adventure.

Another thought: clear all the codes (ECU, airbag controller at least), and
try to start it up again, then see if any new codes have been thrown.

HTH.

I have a question that you guys might be able to help me with:

I am trying to start my S6 for the first time since it was involved in a
wreck in September. It appears that I do not have any spark. I pulled
one of the plugs after turning it over for about 20 seconds and the plug
smelled of fuel. That tells me that I am getting good fuel pressure. I
hook up my 1552 and get a code about the CPS. I have replaced the sensor
and checked the harness. Everything appears to be fine. Is there
something related to the airbag system that will cut the ignition once
the airbags have deployed? I have triple checked all my harnesses around
the area of impact and cannot find any evidence of a pinched or nicked
wires.

Any ideas would be appreciated, I have a feeling that I am overlooking
something obvious.
Scott
