[s-cars] Rear Heated Seats

The rear seat heaters are wired with pressure switches and won't work
without someone actually sitting in them. So, assuming you tested them with
your butt planted in the seat and not by just putting your hand on the seats
to see if they warmed up, then I would check to make sure the connections
under the bottom seat cushion are still OK. Someone may have removed the
seat bottom to replace the battery and never reconnected the seat heaters.
As for speakers, you only have 4. The rear shelf ones are 6"x9" and the
front door ones are 4" down at the bottom of the door panel. What appears
to be a tweeter mounted up high is nothing but a blank grill. I'm assuming
you also have the 2 grills on each of the rear doors as well. These started
appearing in the late '95 cars (probably post 1/95 build date) and as far as
I know also don't contain any speakers (unless it's an Avant). They
probably do use speakers there for the non-bose systems in the A6. Just a
guess anyway.
