I checked with the local Audi folks - ZAP 289 106 is a good part number
in the US Audi parts system, fits the 5 cyl UrS4/S6. It runs about $60US.

They also said that the 4 cylinder (diesel) block heaters will not fit
an Audi. The parts guy didn't have any more information, other than there
was a note somewhere he came up with saying it won't fit. I'd guess YMMV.
It could be something like the 110V AC cord is too short or some such. :-/

Also, while the 1.5L and 1.6L VW diesels used a block heater, the later
VW diesels have an oil-pan heater that accomplishes the same thing.
