Woke up this morning to about 15 responses to my A/C post -- sheesh,
thought it was winter time! I'd be interested in a GP, too, if someone
has the time to put this together. My life's a little hectic at the
moment. Couple of points:
Install would need to be done at a licensed shop. This is not a DIY job.
Charlie's correct about concerns w/ the dryer. This question should be
posed to the GP vendor(s).
Doug, you might check the manual re recirc at lower temps. Recirc tends
to load the vents up with moisture and may not be allowed by the Audi
engineers in cold weather for that reason. Matter of fact, I pretty much
avoid recirc, except in extreme heat, then only to cool the car down for
a couple of minutes. I seem to remember some posts back a couple years
ago about stinky A/C vents -- most likely caused by mold build up from
frequent recirc use.
