[s-cars] CEL on, 95.5 S6 avant wont start... help

Jim:  I agree with Cal - get the codes some way (see Scott Mockry's
site).  Based on personal experience I am guess its the cam position
sensor (CPS) which has a code of 2214 if I remember correctly.
However,  even if it is the CPS, before you have it replaced, check the
connection (the wire may be cut or the connector corroded).  If it is,
fix this first and see how things go.  The CPS lives behind the cam
sprocket but I think the connector can be seen with the cam belt cover
removed.  Remember, always start with the easy and cheap solutions
before moving to the expensive one (live and learn in my case).
