[s-cars] GALA not working/other s6 questions

Funny you should mention the GALA not working(Delta CC
radio in '95.5).  Mine does not work either.  I did
the same output test(holding 2 and turning on radio)
no matter what the speed- no GALA "boost" despite
turning GALA on/off, changing turn on speed etc.  I
picked up a radio off ebay for not too much money for
testing purposes-- too bad it is SAFE mode.  Do'Ah on
my part - should have made sure it had the code.  My
original radio never asks for a code - despite battery
disconecction, removing radio from car etc??

Since yours has the same symptoms- I'm beginning to
think it may be in the wiring. Looking at the Bentley
diagrams - the Radio gets the speed signal from a
connector on the instrument cluster.  I am wondering
if it is disconnected somewhere up there---because the
wire is definately there at the back of the radio
connector.

Anyone know how to check to see if you are getting a
signal?  Would a voltmeter work or do you need a scope
to see the speed signal?

Mirror switch -- four directional triangles are lit -
left and right mirror selection diagrams are not lit.

Not sure on heated door locks- I think pulling the
doorhandle should activate them-- I always use the
remote.
