Your description is of the lower headlight connector. You removed the
screws when you removed the headlight, didn't you ?  You'll see the
toothed receptacle where it slides back into the opening.

I like the pentosin.  If you change to the red just make sure to flush,
flush, flush.  And then flush.  The major problem with fluids from the
web is shipping.  Adirondack has good prices and shipping is reasonable
at <www.germanautoparts.com>.  And a nice description in the chemicals
and lubricants section.  Of course, if you already lost the old, maybe
you need it now.  Just order extra so you have it next time you leak
some.
