[s-cars] a racing question??

Bob,

I share your feelings completely about longevity. But I do like to throw the
car around a bit and I just wondering how much stress I am putting on the
mechanical parts. What I am sort of looking for is roughly "Is it something
I can do on a track 3-4 times a year for some years or am I looking at a
rebuild every year?"

Rich

I dunno, Richard, but I always sort of thought that race car durability
concerns were primarily designed to achieve the goal that the car holds
together long enough to be still going fast at the end of the race and that
what happened fifty feet past the finish line was of little concern.

Personally, I would prefer that my fast S6 retains its ability to go fast
for many years. But that's just me. ;-)
