[s-cars] 2bennett camber plates

The way the plates are designed (to the best of my understanding), is that
they can replace the current plates without changing the current alignment.
However, since my car was obviously out of alignment, I had it aligned
immediately after installing the plates--I couldn't do that myself.
Three days after the installation and alignment I drove over 900 straight
highway miles without a problem. Car seems to handle great. I haven't
really noticed much improvement in handling, but I'm pretty soft on my car.
Installation is as simple as removing three nuts, pulling off the old plate
and popping on the new one. The car stays on the ground throughout--nothing
removed other than the plates (no springs, struts.. ) Don't let anyone tell
you otherwise. Several mechanics insisted that it was an all-day job that
would take over six hours! I should have just put the plates on in their
parking lot with my church clothes on and laughed at their expressions 20
minutes later.
My installation required none of the cutting another lister mentioned.
Although the 2Bennett told me that all depends on what type of setup you
have. The cutting looked easy enough if I ever feel I need to do it.

KC, where you able to align on your own too? or did you mean just the
installation?
How do they perform on the road (any difference besides better alignment)?
Cheers, /Jamu.

After reading Hap's glorious review, I purchased and installed a set for
myself.
No alignment shop wanted to touch them, but it took me less than 20 minutes
to install on my own.
They work great! Finally, I'm aligned!
