You don't want to put anything that will slow or reduce the signal to the
MAP (ECU)...
If the inline filter is at all restrictive then it may interfere with proper
signals at low pressure levels.
If a cheap one is used it may not withstand the vacuum conditions of a
closed throttle plate at higher RPM's.
