I would add, having jet hot coated the rs2 manifold (cause  I thought it
aestetically pleasing,) recent surveys from bottomside of car , revealled flaking
on cyl. 5 (closest to firewall) only visible from underneath.  This indicates
to me that it gets friggin hot there.
As I am running  3700 hp (or 370 +/-) I'd say at least the rs2 EM would be a
wise investment, No S ;)
Of course equal length tubular headers look so cool, and they would be first
choice if cost were no object and you could wait possibly forever.
So,  IMHO find an rs2 EM for a few hundred bucks on ebay . de and spend
several hours installing;)
