[s-cars] My dead S2

I just watched a tech diagnose a blown head gasket on VW's first (failed)
attempt at the Passat. He connected a pressure gauge to the coolant system
and ran the engine at a fast idle. Fast pressure rise = blown head gasket.

Good point Kirby,

I'd presumed that Audi main dealers would be able to spot a blown
headgasket, but they haven't really shown themselves to be very competent,
have they?  Find a good mechanic (or better still, become one yourself), and
follow the info on Scott Mockry's superb web site.
