You can't always believe everything you hear or read. But, the 400+hp was
attained on an 84 degree day at something like 8500ft of density altitude with 91
octane pump gas. Is there more power to be had? During the dyno runs, we had
a boost leak from the bypass valve mount. To smooth out the charge air
delivery I used different turbo to I/C plumbing. This plumbing utilizes a samco hose
with clamps to mount the BPV. We were getting a leak from this plumbing above
24psi. My other set-up uses a hard mounted BPV but has a harder bend exiting
the turbo. I'm having some new plumbing fabricated with a hard mount for the
BPV.
In addition, I am now running a Big Bore Throttle Body and I'm having some
heavy duty work done on my Intake Manifold. I think that 420 at the wheels
should be attainable. Congratulations on your numbers for that 10v motor. Keep up
the good work.
Hap, just hopin to keep up with Mike in Everboost, Maguire
