10 to 1 it's the lower hose from the interooler to the crossover pipe.
Commonly referred to as the michelin man hose because of the pleats in it.
You have to take it off and bend it all around sometimes to see the hole.

Subject: [s-cars] Whooshing sound under at high RPM

Hello,
Yesterday my 92 UrS4 began "Bucking" at high RPM's under heavy
acceleration.
Today I'm not able to reproduce the cutout problem; perhaps it is
related to engine temp.

Now I'm hearing a loud "Whooshing" sound from the driver's side of the
car when I accelerate hard. It does not happened in 1st gear, no matter
how hard I accelerate, but it is very consistent in 3rd gear once the
engine gets above 3800 RPM's. If I accelerate slowly in 2nd, the
"Whoosh" noise does NOT occur.

By "Whoosh" I mean it sounds like compressed air.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,

Jed
