You don't even need the relay, simply hook the wire from the head unit
labeled "antenna" or "remote" up to the amplifier lead that is labeled
something similar.  I don't know of any amp or head unit that has been
manufactured recently without this capability.

Also, if you find the right wire on the harness you can hook up the "remote"
line from the head unit to it and retain the chime that tells you that you
have left the radio on after the car is off.

Matt, most of these radio head units have an anntenna output terminal, that
powers up the antenna when the radio is turned on. Trigger a relay with this
terminal to power up your amps, piece of cake. I used this on my 911 to
power the amplifier.
