[s-cars] S-6 Sunroof stuck :o(

Hello,

The sunroof on my 95 S-6 will not close all the way.
It will fully retract but only close half way.  When
opening, it sounds as though the mechanism hits a
mechanical limit as opposed to an electrical stop.
Seems like the electrical contact limit points are out
of synch with the mechanism.

I live 200+ miles from the nearest Audi dealer and do
not relish the prospect of making the drive with the
roof half open at the beginning of monsoon season.
Any advise as to the scope and details of repair task
will be greatly appreciated.
