Don't miss the diff problem created with the change. The diff calls
for 90W GL5, not the lighter 75W90, so it is filled with underspec
lubricant.

For the tranny, any of the synthetic 75W90 GL4 lubes should be ok.
They all seem to have different qualities depending on the user, and
thus YMMV. Amsoil and Redline have advocates that claim they were
poured directly from the holy grail. YMMV. How the lube works in your
transmission in your location with your type driving is the only sure
way to know which is best for you.

If your syncros are too slippery, you will sure know it since they
won't sync and the wear will come from you meshing the gear teeth.

Although modern chemistry is producing a GL5 spec synthetic lube
without the corrosive properties of the sulphur additives on yellow
metals, the safe course is GL4, if it works.
