NO, not me of course, but my neighbor' 20 year old son does.  I have
worked with him on many of my mods and believe him to be quite
knowledgeable and able to perform quite difficult audi bolt/part
removals/installations that I judged quite difficult.
He is currently the mechanic on a spec 4 (I think) race car and most
certainly has a passion for racing/going fast.
Question is; how does one go about becoming a mechanic on a race team?
I think he should specialize in some area that others are least willing
or least able to work in.  Of course formal training would help too, but
where and study of what?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
