Subject: [s-cars] a very rough Audi weekend

Well I tried to make it to Waterfest this weekend:  overnighted a new
turbocharger to get the 4ktq ready to go on Friday night and all.

About 60 miles into the trip my dash lit up indicating the car wasn't
charging.. looking down at the voltmeter showed this was the case.

Once I got into NY, things got real ugly in a hurry.  I was doing about
80 and had just rounded a slight curve in the road when tire smoke
starting pouring from the right front and the car began veering out of
control.








Yikes Marc, yikes.  That blows hugehog.  So sorry to hear, especially after
over nighting the new turbo and doing all that lower end work.  Big ugh.

Hmmm...  Rossato & I musta been, er, a bit 'distracted' during our trip down
to Uncle Bob's (CMG shagging) / WF, as we didn't see any of your roadside
carnage.  Hmmm...  musta been busy, whatwith that 996tt and 512TR playing
cat 'n mouse with me and all...  for, oh, um, 25+ miles of the southern
Merrit, WOT early a.m., nothing like it...  MUWAHAhahahahahahaa...  CT to WF
in 2.5, tee hee.

Best of luck on the re-resurrection.  That's a real pisser.
