Richard: Have you checked around the Heater Box on the Firewall? I
just replaced my Heater Control Valve, which is located on the Left Side
of the Heater Box. I first noticed it leaking down over the
transmission, but it would not leak all the time. In addition to the
Valve there are also 2 hoses and about six clamps in the same location
that could also be leaking. It is worth a check. You will need to
remove the wipers and two covers to access the area, i.e. about a 1/2
hour job.

OK guys, I'm trying to figure out where my coolant is
going. It'll drink an inch out of the resirvoir tank
in about 700 miles. So far, I've found no coolant in
the oil, and the spark plugs all look good. The timing
belt and water pump were replaced by me at 120k miles,
car now has 129k. The coolant loss problem started a
couple thousand miles ago. I hope its just some stupid
hose clamp, but there's no puddle or drip under the
car, it only happens while driving. I'm going insane,
anyone have suggestions? The car runs fine, put new
plugs and caps in last night. Pulls like a raped ape
on crack :)
