I just installed a vac/boost gauge in my 95.5 S6, tapping into green air li=
ne in the drivers footwell. I must have missed the list-post that said "do=
n't do that". I am happy to report that I get +5 psi whenever I use the do=
or locks, but other than that the gauge just sits there with nothing to do.=
I think this gauge might be a lot more useful measuring intake manifold v=
acuum and pressure - where's the easiest place to tap in? I know there's o=
ne for the ECU on the passenger side, anything closer?
For others who might choose to take my route check the lock pressure before=
moving on to use it as a boost gauge - you'll want to add a McMaster-Carr=
5449K192 5mm tube coupling to your supply list...

2nd... options vary, I found it easiest to go right from where you
incorrectly are now, past the pedal cluster, through the FW through the
large rubber grommet there... via a nice little AoA provided spare
passageway. This dumps you under the MC, and you can T in right there as
the line runs east to west... or is that vice versa?
I'll show you @ NE //SFest ;-)...
