What was the original "symptom", and what is the "better" result of the new bypass valve?
I just got a 95 S6 about a month ago with an RS2 manifold and turbo. It has a lot of lag between shifts. I swapped a friends new bypass valve in for one quick drive, and it still seemed the turbo "stalled" between shifts. Using a Mighty Vac to test, the new valve opened at lower vac then the old one. Strange. It has great power, just too much time betweeen gears.
