[s-cars] (un)clear corner

Heh. Simple, eh? In theory, Bill, it is simple - the corner is secured to
the headlamp housing by a plastic spring clip. All you have to do is release
the spring clip by pushing down on the tab and the corner slides forward out
of the car. Twist the bulb holder to release it from it's locking pins and
voila! - the corner is off.
In practice, it is somewhat difficult to get to the clips, particularly on
the left side. I have released this clip with a long screwdriver and a
light, but you have to know what you are looking for to push down on the
right plastic bit.
Putting it back on can be a bit trickier. You have to get the plastic
securing tabs in the appropriate slots ( you'll see what I mean when you
have one out) and you have to push in until you hear a distinct "click" from
the locking tab. Failure to do this will result in another post to the list
bemoaning a lost corner and asking if anyone has a spare :o)
Good luck. Typical simple Audi job.

P.S. you can always take out the headlights to get the corners off :o)

Before I spend half a day changing to a clear corner; how do you get these
out? This is simple right? Is it just turn one nylon screw and push out or
is
there more to it? Where do you push from?
TIA
