[s-cars] Climate Control Vents - Stopped working

Mike,

It looks like the central flap jammed and you're in for an 8 hours
wrestling. Give a look at http://www.12v.org/maint/cc.html to read your
climate control error codes. Channel 01c displaying 11.5 or 11.7 means
it's the central flap. You can double-check with channels 11c and 12c
which are specified value and actual value for the central flap. Both
should be within 1 or 2.

And getting to this damned central flap is a week-end job. The only
procedure I have found about this is in the Bentley. Anyway, it's
already too late to start this repair during this week-end.

Hi guys - My wife swears she didn't do anything to upset the car, but I
think
she did something. All the middle blower vents on my '92s4 have stopped
working. When you press the button on the right climate control display
to
blow air from what the manual refers to as "outlets 3 and 4", nothing
comes
out. I fiddled with the individual vent open/close controls, but that
didn't
help.

What should I look for to figure this out and how much work is it?
