[s-cars] bad heater control valve and heater water pump?

Using the number below and entering it in www.thepartsbin.com it gave me a price of $92.20, but list is $205.10 (typical stealer prices...). Very easy to replace, but you will loose coolant so buy some or have a big pan ready to collect what comes out. Type in the part number and you'll see what it looks like, Auxiliary Water Pump. Other places might have cheaper, so shop around, check out Rod at the parts connection.
I replaced mine last year, I went to a local parts shop and they gave me the wrong one, it fits exact but the electrical connector was different (of course I only noticed that once I finished installing it...d'oh!), so I removed the connector housing and wired it up direct and it works fine (it was from a diesel VW I think...). Anyway, easy job go for it!
Cheers, /James.

James
I was quoted $200 for the pump.... So I guess I am being overcharged?
Looks easy to replace, maybe I'll pick up the car and order it myself.
Thoughts...BTDT?
Thanks
Chris
