RE: [s-cars] Boost problem HELP!You were right! I pulled of the plastic co=
ver in the back of the engine bay and there it was. That dang hose was an =
inch away from where it was supposed to be, hissing away...mocking me! I c=
ut the crappy factory clamp off, put on a new screw-on hose clamp and off I=
went! Runs like a million bucks now! Very quick with the MTM chips.

Thanks alot!

It is different on my car - an s6 -(redesigned because of this common pro=
blem), than it was on the s4, so I don't recall exactly where the hose turn=
s to green nylon. Once you pull the black plastic cover at the firewall, t=
he moisture trap and the hose connection will be obvious. Another thing yo=
u can do is to run the car with the hose disconnected at the ECU, and verif=
y that you hear boost coming through the line (It will be obvious). If not=
, the boost line has a leak, and it'll be at the moisture trap.

It wouldn't surprise me it it's getting excessive boost because when it
is working, if it wasn't for the head rest, my head would rip off and
land in the back seat for that first 30 seconds when it's working. :-P

I know it's not the hose AT the ECU because I tore that up twice now to
make sure I put it back on right when I reinstalled the ECU after it
came back from being upgraded. So I can find this hose under the hood
or under the carpet/kick panels? Is it green like it is at the ECU?
