[s-cars] Delta Radio with GALA, Alarm Issues

Does the GALA feature on the Delta radio actually work?

It never seems to make any difference. I went through the protocol on
AudiWorld to (www.audiworld.com/tech/elec22.shtml) see GALA in action but
volume adjustment never occurs as I am driving.

Also how do I program to activate or deactivate the honk that accompanies the
alarm?
