What do I need to do to take advantage of the unofficial fuel line recall?

Chris,

My understanding is that this is now an official recall, and Audi won't
hesitate on shouldering the cost of the fix.

I went through it a couple years ago, and what I did was prepare a letter to
AoA including VIN numbers of owners that have had the fix done gratis, and
highlighting the safety concerns.  It worked fabulously - I paid nothing out
of pocket.
