Wow, how odd is that I was doing the exact same thing last night.
I even wiped a bit of chrome off myself. AFAIK you can not get sweet *** all
available for the lamp assembly's.
You may find a used one with a broken lens at a recyclers somewhere.

I took my headlights appart today to put Euro lenses one them and I was
trying to clean the chrome ring that goes inside one of the headlights and
just by wiping it the chrome finish started comming off and now it looks
bad. I don't see a part number on it so I don't suppose you can just buy
that piece right? Do any of you have one of these or maybe a bad headlight
or something that I could get this part from?

Please help, my headlight is appart and I can't drive the car :-(
