Yes, I had been warned that this may happen after my ECU upgrade.
Unfortunately, getting Samco hoses is not as easy as just buying them
and then getting them installed.

At speed, I heard a hose blow off. The car still ran but lost about 90%
of its power. After dropping the belly pan, the popped of hose was
clearly visible and putting it back on with a new clamp fixed the
problem.

I have several questions:

If the car is driven with the lower hose popped off, does it damage
anything? Engine, cat, etc?

Are there any alternatives to Samco that are readily available?
