[s-cars] Idle happenings

Funny thing happened on the way to work today. Came to
a stop light and idle was pegging from 1500-2000 rpm.
Went to the next light and car stalled before I
stopped. Dropped it in 2nd while still moving and
jumped it before I came to a complete stop. Drove for
a few miles. Idle was back to normal at around 800
rpm.
Any thoughts? Something sticking, going away?
02 sensor is about 3 months old. Fuel filter, about 8
months old, plugs and connectors 3 months old.
