Hmmm, none of the guys that reported on their performance bypass valves
seemed to mention this issue. I guess I'll see. Plus, I can deal with a
serviceable part much better than one that turns to junk, and/or has the possibility of
having parts of it inhaled by my costly turbo.
The OE valve is the same design as the 710N. Sounds like you need a butt
dyno

he he... the butt dyno. Actually, I'm checking my changes with a G-Tech. I
don't want to get into a debate over its accuracy, but it does seem to be VERY
consistent. It doesn't really matter to me if the numbers are accurate as
much as having something to identify/quantify the effects of changes. That, I
believe, it does quite well. And in that regard, shows the 710N to be a bad
choice of valves (among the OEM variants). All of the Bosch bypass valves
appear to be of the same design when disassembled. The only variance is in the
spring.
