I wish that I had been drinking!! I think the only thing I'd put in my
stomach was a Fanta Orange at that time of the morning. :-)
I'd love to see what your skid plates look like.......that is if they
are still there!!

Guys,
You were defintely more drunk that I thought. There is just no other way
!!!! I am surprised that mr Keith has not say a word yet. May be with
our friend-from-UK-now-driving-french-diesel-car, you can start a club:
I survived Fred Ride in Paris. It is how I can make the difference
between the boys from the men on the list. I don't recall Jim from
California, Tom from Autralia or Franck from Colorado complain at all
!!!!
The reason I was screaming at you to pass that french police car is
because the police men were not wearing uniforms but hawaian shirts
(real), so they were not entitled to arrest any of us no matter what was
our speed. But of course you were such girlie drivers that day....
Anyway, for anybody on the list, you can see how thanksfull they are
with me. I told Tom to be carefull with the car and he was racing with
Joern at more than 260 km/h on french highway (limited at 130 km/h !!!).
Anyway be ready for 2004 because Le Mans Classic will be three days
event in July.
Regards,
Frederic

I will second J's comments. It will be a long time before I forget how
we banged and bounced off the roadways in Paris after leaving Freddy's
pad.
Joern and Frederic, I've found a self shot video of myself driving
Frederic's S6+, at 260kph (@164mph), down the french autoroute to Le
Mans. Speedo shot to prove it. Also some shots of Joern's ride rolling
(Keith ridin' side saddle) down the left lane shot by me pulling my "hey
look I'm a stupid american" routine passing everyone on the far right in
order to get a good wide shot of the black beast. Ah the memories.....
If you guys have some web space I can share.
I tell you Frederic I will never forgot the diarrhea of obscenities that
sprewed forth from your mouth over the two-way radios when the
"gerrymanderers" pulled the rolling road block on you. Once you passed
them, and myself passing them after many minutes of coaxing from you, I
started wondering what a french jail would would be like. Would I get
crepes in the morning OR be forced to eat andouille??? Oh man was I
sweating it once they caught up with us at the toll booth. I'm still
not really sure what happened that day. Why did they allow us to
continue to terrorize the french countryside? Or did they know we could
easily loose them??

It does not matter whether it is in Norway or France, Fred will hit
about anything he can with his heavy V8 lower parts like Exhaust system
and frame.
Last year on our way out of Paris to Le Mans, both Keith, Tom and I saw
nothing but sparks from below his car car when he was trying to outrun
us in the black beast on the small streets of Versailles..........well
we caught him on the highway and I do not remember any of us taking to
much notice of the 130 km/h limit.
And don't give me that crap about smoking is dangerous, we all know
that. But driving inside Paris last year was a lot more dangerous than
my smoking for sure!
Best regards Joern

allowed. And BIG fines if you break the rules.. Norway has about 400
traffic casualties /year, and even if 1 casuality is too much, they
spend more money and focus on reducing traffic accidents than they put
into e.g. heartstarters in _every_ ambulance/patrol car, which would
save about 3000 people/year.. Funny, isn't it?
