Seriously though, one wild speculative thought does occur to me about this.
If the kid down the street followed the "normal" install for the kit whilst
you were away, unable to properly supervise while tangoing down in
Argentina, and welded the key locks in/onto the hiem link the clips, I
suppose there could be some electrical shenanigans that could occur
precipitating electrical stress leading to a failure of some sort?  If
that's the case, your the first instance I've heard of this occurring as a
result of an RSB install.
