You can't charge the system from the high side.  The high side pressure in
your system is greater than the pressure inside your can of R134A... meaning
that in the best case scenario, nothing goes anywhere.  Worst case, you
pressurize the can to the point of bursting.  R134A is pretty reasonable.  Have someone
evacuate the system and recharge it.
