Friends of perpetual maintenance,
My 2-speed fan was not working at all.  Newly charged AC works marginally
when at interstate speed, barely at all in traffic. Fan not working at all
when I turn on the A/C.  It should run at low always when A/C is on. Checked
the relays in position 2 & 3 of the main relay box before leaving the office
last night and could feel the relay in position 2 (low speed) click when
pulled out/put in.  Couldn’t feel anything in pos. 3 relay.  Drove home in
moderate sweat.  About a block from home, the high-speed fan kicks on and
the A/C blows COLD.  Maybe taking out the relays cleans the contacts,
methinks.  Brilliant!  Shine up contacts
works like a dream.  Today, NO FAN!
At any speed.
Any suggestions?
