Don't hate me but, yesterday I got to drive one of the finest cars ever
produced. It was my friends, 1987 Ford Escort Diesel Wagon (Avant).
This is one of the lowest production Escorts ever produced.  This baby
is nice.
She was painted white with maroon interior.
 First I had to fire her up.  Turn the key, wait for the glow plug light
to turn off, and fire.  Ohhh the sound.  Four cylinders all detonating
in sequence.  There is a wonderful vibration transmitted through the
steering wheel..pure velvet.
How does she drive?  Well she has a five speed but you only need the
first four. First gear pulls strong like a pack of smoky, wild chickens,
second even better.  I only made it to third gear with speeds
approaching 35 mph, but it was intense.
