Jamu / Don / East Coaster Shippers-
OK, enough procrastinating... I'm IN! The allure of a future FMIC is too
tempting (what with it being f'n 97 degrees here) to not be able to do
someday.
Unpainted, screens uninstalled, group shipped(?). I assume I need to
contact LLtek directly, sooner than later. Anyone know the deadline? I'd
sorta like to do it last minute, for various reasons.
Any other NEers for me and The Donald to split shipping? Indeed, arrival
for NE //SFest 8/23 would be clutch...

Paul,
save the $ on the Euro F&R and just get the LLTEK and be happy.
I was also looking to do this mod too, but the shipping cost was just to
high. If your making the move, I'm in for a split on the central shipping to
save a buck or two.
If there are any other NE listers that are looking to do this mod and want
to go in on the shipping, speak now. Maybe arrange delivery for the NE
S-Fest gala?
Let me know if your interested off line

ANYwho...
I'm in the same f'n lameboat as Dave / Cody. I pulled a Titanic this winter
and hit an iceberg while f'n around in a blizzard (worth every second).
Cracked the upper part of the cover. So, it's either F&R Euro's for a few
clams more, big deal, but then forego any chance of an FMIC that I some day
would like to do. Or buy new f'n bumper, AND LLtek.
F me. What to do. I'm on the fence.
Jamu, you got a drop-dead date for me to put the flame to my arse? 8-)

P.S. what da heck is RiceboyPizzo's name doing on THIS list???

I'm in a similar problem as the bumper for my '93 S4 is split in the
textured area. Does anyone know of good used S4 (textured impact strip)
or S6 (smooth finish) bumpers? S series are different than 100/A6 due
to the front fender flairs. I'll take it with a bad lower section as
long as the top part and side mounts are solid. I can handle some
plastic welding but not the $650 for a new one.
On a separate note, this is not the usual "Group Purchase". We are not
buying a stock item at discount. LLtek has custom made a front end and
needs enough orders to afford a mold. There are no front airdams
available for US bumpers and whatever it costs is better than nothing at
all when we can't come up with the orders for an initial run. If you
EVER wanted it, then now is the time to dig deep for it. Save by
eliminating the lights but let's not lose out on a hand made custom run
for a few dollars. The group shipping is a great idea. Are there
enough on the east coast for a similar deal? I'm unemployed and trying
to find the money for the order. This is a one time chance to get a
mold made. After that we can order individual spoilers but the first
set of orders buys the mold. Let's show our group strength and support
for these rare cars. James has worked hard to convince LLTek that our
cars are worth making special products for.

I am also still interested in the part unpainted w/ Kamei Style mesh (no
lights) to be shipped to Denver w/ the rest of us..to save on shipping.
But I "also" need a new entire bumper as mine is falling apart at the
"seams" on my 92 between the black plastic and painted bumper section.

I'm really trying to add myself to that number of individuals wanting
this
item. The price justification is a tough one but as you and Frank have
pointed out, the basic unit sans mesh/lights/paint is definitely more
doable. What kind of figure have we come up with in terms of shipping X
number of units per box with the 10% discount?
