[s-cars] Fumoto Valve (a solution?)

On the '93 100S, the fumoto valve didn't want to seat as stock because
of an extrusion on the oil pan shape -- a couple extra brass washers
and that issue was solved. Don't know if it applies in your case, but
just a friendly head's up. I had to put it in and take it out a few
times that day to figure out the right combination of washer and
starting thread point to get it in right but still have the level
capable of rotating all the way about.
Meanwhile, I curse the engineers who decided it was appropriate in the
industry to create an oil drain bolt (the stock one) out a material
that is harder than the receiver thread in the oil pan it screws into.
Audi has done it for numerous years, and the motorcycle boys over at
Suzuki are guilty of it as well (I'm investigating whether there is
adequate clearance under my motorcycle's oil pan to install such a
creature without worrying about smashing it when clearing speed bumps,
etc).
Cheers
