[s-cars] Front Bumper Repair - BTDT?

It can be matched by first following directions of the paint companies
and painting a test board with varying patches of undercoat, pearl coat,
and clear coat. (Not that I did on a bumper repair.) Let dry, leave in
the sun for a while, then compare. You did record the number of passes
for each section? Now you know the formula that best fits your car with
your paint and your gun. Note that this is a pain in the keister
because modern paints are two part mixtures of obnoxious catalyzing
stuff, rather than the easier to mix, slightly less noxious acrylic
lacquer.
