Congrats Paul!
I have a dumb situation that may need the same repair. Did you need a
special spanner to get the unit out? and I think the consensu was that the
ski sack does not have to be removed?
Nope. Just use a flat head and a hammer, and spin off the top ring. Real
easy. No idea on your symptom though, I'd doubt it's the same case as mine.
Yours sounds more like a bum unit. If you take it out and look at it you'll
see it's a rather fragile looking, semi complex unit. I'd swap sender out
with a friend to see if it's the gauge itself, it's that easy of a job
pretty much.
Good luck.
-Paul I'm about to go SHRED through some fuel, pointlessly, in the 4-7"
we're getting right now K.
