I had a similar flutter under high loads. It was getting worse and could be
felt in 3rd gear as well. I was convinced that it was a bad coil pack and
purchased 5 new ones. I then read Mike Pederson's post yesterday and that got
me thinking about the first time I had a coil pack problem. The faulty coil
had a series of carbon trails on the plug and the connector. I had no such
trails this time so I decided to try a new set of plugs first. Voila! Problem
solved. Velvet smooth pulls with out a hint of the flutter. The Colorado
Zephyr was indeed caused by the Happersized machine pulling away up and down
I-70 west of Denver.

My next decision is whether or not to replace the coil packs anyway. Anybody
out there want to buy a set of perfectly good coil packs?
