Ken,

I don't really drive the ol' UrS anymore (Escalade ESV last week, H2
this week, Z4 next week), but I did take it on a 1,500 mile trip to
Vegas (I spent a week there one night!) for SEMA '01.

Considering that I was on a balding set of S-02s, the car did GREAT!
While the power was great at the lower altitudes, I may have had a
running lean issue as the car didn't like prolonged periods of
high-boost (I foolishly didn't bring my air / fuel ratio meter).

I can't speak to your turbo (is it a larger unit?) and firmware as they
are unknown quantities. However, I can say two things: 1) you may need
more fuel at sea level (you lucky bastard you), and 2) by virtue of that
nice fat air that your turbo will be biting into you may notice
increased intercooler efficiency.

Those are my two $0.01, but consider the rest of the geeks cc'd.

Frank, I meet you at one of Dave's tunning sessions over at Autosportwerks.=
I know you have taken your Ur on a road trip, from previous conversations,=
and your car certainly doesn't look like it has been dramatically damaged =
from the travel. How did the turbo do on that travel? I am moving to San Fr=
an and i need to get my car out there and i'm worried about the damn thing =
blowing up. Currently, i have one of Dave's home made chips and an exhaust=
but no upgraded intercooler. Do you think i have any worries? If you don=
't know about this particular setup could you please post this question to =
the rest of the Ur geeks? Gracias,

Ken Chang
